Cocos nucifera L. (Cocos mamillaris Blanco) commonly known as coconut or coconut palm. This is a palm tree belonging to the Arecaceae family.

Coconut palms grows along sandy shores throughout the Tropics and in most subtropical regions. 

Coconut oil contains fatty acids as active ingredients, which means it has an emollient action and inhibits dermatophytes, makes it an ideal moisturising and purifying product. It gives the skin the smoothness and softness it needs.
